Admission Guidelines


Following are the instructions and details about applying for Admission. Please read them carefully. All the instructions are authorized under the Rules and regulations of the College.

All the candidates are required to submit self-attested photocopies of the following documents along with their application form.

  1. High School certificate and marksheet (photocopy)
  2. Intermediate certificate and marksheet (photocopy)
  3. Marksheet of last examination/qualifying examination passed (Marksheet of I,II,III year)
  4. Transfer Certificate(original)or centre certificate(applicable for private candidates)
  5. Gap certificate(if applicable)
  6. Migration Certificate for PG students (Passed UG from another University)
  7. 4 passport size coloured photographs of candidate

  • If there is gap in taking admission after intermediate, then Gap Certificate (an affidavit certified by the Notary on Stamp paper) has to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • In the absence of relevant certificates e.i. Caste Certificate, Domicile certificate, Income certificates, Sports certificates (if applicable) application will not be considered.
  • It may be noted that request for change in the particulars filled in the Application Form by you, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • The detailed information of the admission procedure will be displayed on the College website. Candidates are advised to check for updates regularly on the College Website.
  • All fees deposited at the time of admission will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Failure to pay the fee or report for classes after payment of fee within the specified date will entail cancellation of admission.
  • As directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, action will be taken against the students who indulge in incidence like ragging during studentship.
  • The College reserves the right to change or amend the admission rules (as per the University) at any time without prior notification so it is necessary for us to follow the rules.
  • If any candidate gets admission on the basis of false information/improper means or on the basis of false marksheet his/her admission will be cancelled from the beginning and legal action will be taken against his/her under IPC.
  • College reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.

Note:

Any discrepancy found during verification of original documents will result in the cancellation of Admission and legal action will be taken against the candidate.

The College offers the following subjects in B.A/B.COM/B.SC/B.Ed./B.T.C. Stream.

Eligibilty for B.A. / B.SC / B.COM

Intermediate or equivalent examination. The minimum marks required for General and other Backward classes candidates is 45%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 40%* of marks. *This percentage is based upon total marks of all the subjects.

B.A is three-year course and is being run as per the prescribed norms of Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaja University Kanpur. Examinations are conducted after completion of each year.

Candidates have to select three subjects. According to the University norms, students have to opt for 3 subjects in B.A. I which will be continued in B.A. II. The students need to drop one of the three subjects in B.A III.

B.Sc. is three-year course and is being run as per the prescribed norms of Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaja University Kanpur. Examinations are conducted after completion of each year.

Candidates have to select three subjects according to their group in Intermediate (ZBC/PCM). According to the University norms, students have to opt for 3 subjects in B.Sc. I which will be continued in B.Sc. II. The students need to drop one of the three subjects in B.Sc. III.

B.com is three year course and is being run as per prescribed norms of Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaja University Kanpur. Examinations are conducted after completion of each year.

Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study. The minimum marks required for General and other Backward classes candidates is 45%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 40%* of marks *The percentage is based upon total marks of all subjects.

To avoid inconvenience to both the students and the college, the candidates are expected to choose their subject carefully. They will not be allowed to change the subject later.

Admission Procedure For Students Of Ii ,Iii Year And Semester Classes

  1. Admission forms are available for B.A II ,III ,B.Com II,III, B.Sc. year and all semester classes.
  2. All students are required to complete their admission forms by date Ist July 2017 to 15th August 2017.
  3. Last date of form submission and fee deposit is 16 August 2017.
  4. Fine will be charged from 17 August 2017.
  5. Students will keep the receipts issued to them in proof of payment fees to be produced when needed. Those who lose the fee receipt will be charged a fine.
Eligibilty for B.ED

B.Ed is two years course. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to B. Ed. is that the student must be a Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

Candidate age must be lie between Minimum age : 18 years and Maximum age : 40 years.

Eligibilty for B.T.C.

B.T.C is two years course. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to B.T.C. is that the student must be a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Candidate age must be lie between Minimum age : 18 years and Maximum age : 35 years.

Eligibilty for LLB

The minimum requirement for admission to LL.B Three Year Programme is Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from a recognized University in INDIA with 45% marks in aggregate in qualifying degree examination. 45% for OBC/GEN and 40% for SC/ST candidates.

No Age Bar for admission.
